Unlock child-centered perspectives to grow in your practice.

¡Hola!
I’m
Dra. Martha Melgoza.

With over 35 years of experience, I use inquiry-based exploration to help early educators, leaders, and families grow in their educational practices. Together, we can tailor a series of trainings, workshops or strategic consultations, in either English or Spanish, to help you achieve your educational practice goals.

  • "Dra. Martha Melgoza continues to develop herself as apioineer within the field of early childhood education. She focuses on intentional teaching practices, with an exceptional talent for including and engaging families as an integral piece of developing the whole child. As a leader she is willing to do what is right over what is convenient or conventional. Her style is methodical and guided by well developed strategies; this has consistently led to measurable outcomes for every organization she has worked with. Her impressive record speaks for itself."

Executive Director Child Education Center, The Model School and Blooms Childcare

  • "Martha, alongside the many parent-leaders, developed a community culture of respect, mutual support and unending curiosity in the world of children, at Skytown Preschool. Many of us spent hours sharing our troubles with and getting council from Martha, In service of children, there is not a parent she would not give her free time to. Not to mention heartfelt notes, small tokens of care, homemade meals, thoughtful follow up questions, or best wishes. Despite all that Martha gave of herself, one lesson she taught me (is still teaching me) is self regard and healthy boundaries. I am beyond appreciative for that and so much more."

  • "The Professional Development Dr. Melgoza offers is individualized and targeted to the needs at hand. She uses her real-world knowledge of early childhood development and her experience, in addition to her observations in the learning space, children’s needs and the teaching styles of the educators she is working with, to make her training courses unique and directed to the specific audience she is addressing."

  • "Martha helped me see that, when my kids were being a challenge, it wasn’t personal. They were usually working through a developmental stage and just needed my understanding and empathy. That perspective has helped me be a better parent through their adolescence and will continue to be a well I draw from for many years. What a gift!"
